| Jam Cruise's inaugural voyage took place from Jan. 6-10, 2004. The chartered cruise ship, loaded with 10 bands and 1000 music fans, left from Ft. Lauderdale and went to the Bahamas and Key West. Tishamingo played for 3 and a half hours on the last night of the cruise…which eventually turned into a jam session that included (not all at once) Karl Denson, E.T. (Dirty Dozen), Jeff Raines (Galactic), Matt Grondin, J.J. Grey (Mofro), Jerry Joseph, Joel Cummins (Umphrey's McGee), Bill Nershi (String Cheese Incident), and Rob Wasserman. I was also involved in a jam session the night before with Matt and Rob again and…Terence Higgins and Jamie McLean from the Dirty Dozen Brass Band. Special thanks to all of the great musicians that I got to play with! |
